Marco RICCI (Belluno 1676 - Venice 1730) “Classical ruins with equestrian statue and round temple” Original monogrammed etching in Mrf plate on the stone on the bottom left and dated 1730 in Roman numerals at the end of the dedication after the publisher's name Carlo Orsolini. Beautiful copy in the second state of two with the number 10 in the upper right corner, printed on a portion of typical eighteenth-century laid paper apparently without watermark, with margins of about an inch beyond the imprint of the plate, a restored tear on the right side which affects the engraved part but overall in good general condition. Bibliography: Bartsch 10, Succi 422. Measurements in mm: 428 x 314
